ANDREW W.K. & CHERIE LILY
From the Ann Arbor creative hub that spawned Twig Harper and Wolf Eyes comes Andrew W.K., whose music seeks to answer existential questions about life, music, and the party. In 2001 he achieved international fame with a combination of honed multi-instrumentalism and reckless abandon that became known as "party metal." Since then his artistic pallette has expanded to include more production work, solo performances, experimental lectures, books and television. He has collaborated with Obituary, To Live and Shave in LA, Bonnie Prince Billy, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Vampire Weekend, MC Chris, Hanson - the list gets more perplexing.
This night's performance will feature Cherie Lily, whose sound encompasses rock, electro, folk, classical, punk and opera. She is also known for her stint as the guitarist and vocalist of the wildly wonderful band FLuRT.

Height With Friends is a rap group from Baltimore, Maryland. Height began as a solo performer, but expanded his live set to include the rotating cast of rappers and producers who help craft his albums. Baltimore Highlands, released in January on Wham City Records, is their debut as a band.
